Medicon Village is built on a fundamental concept: bringing together the right mix of companies, healthcare providers, academic institutions, and support functions, representing the entire value chain. In short, it provides smaller companies with many of the advantages typically associated with larger organisations through a collaborative and integrated environment. Today, Medicon Village has grown into Scandinavia’s largest life science research park, home to approximately 180 member companies and 2,800 professionals.
Supporting innovation and growth
A key part of Medicon Village’s mission is to create the conditions for its member companies to grow and succeed. Through seminars, investor meetings, mentoring programmes, and professional networks, businesses are supported throughout different stages of their growth journey.
The incubator Smile Venture Hub further contributes to this ecosystem by providing guidance, programmes, and resources for life science entrepreneurs and early-stage companies, helping them progress from idea to growth.
